Thanksgiving trip

I figured I have not blogged in quite some time and I thought I would share some of the photos from our recent trip.  With having Sebastian as our host student this year we tried to come up with different things to do together to show him the States and to enhance his time here.  We decided to go on a cruise over Thanksgiving break and had a really nice time.  The ports we went to were amazing and our time as a family was very much treasured.  We also were so lucky to have my cousins go on the same trip with us.  So many amazing memories that we will treasure for a lifetime.

Our first port was Nassau, Bahamas

The food on the trip was just out of this world. Very hard coming home yesterday and making Tuna casserole for the gang :-)

Second stop we went to was St. Thomas.  This island was just amazing.  Breath taking views and we had a wonderful guide Ali!!!

Next stop was San Juan, Puerto Rico.  We visited the rainforest and spent time in old San Juan.  We really had a great time at this port for all the variety of things we did.

Our time on the boat was also pretty fun!  Chase loved the kids club, as did we :-)

We had the most amazing servers for our dinners.  We just loved all of them!!

Last stop on the agenda was Grand Turk.  Truly the most amazing waters I have ever seen.  The blues were soooo beautiful!!

This truly was probably the best trip I have taken.  It was so much variety.  The weather was perfect the entire time, the scenery was just magnificent, the food was top notch and the company was pretty good as well.  We had a mix of relaxation, site seeing and just plain fun.  We did miss being with our Ohio Family on Thanksgiving though as this is the very first time we were not home.

We would really like to visit St. Thomas and Puerto Rico another time for a longer period.

Highly recommend this tour of islands.
